The Fifth Wheel drop a NEW original Christmas tune on Black Friday titled, " I Miss You Christmas". "It is a song to revive that feeling you had when families assembled for meals and celebration, it's that longing for a time gone by and I think people need to bring that back." said TFW frontman, Josh Stone.
The new song has been in the works since May of of '24 when Stone and co-writer Tom Weyand sat down with a notepad and a guitar and took months to perfect the song. "We knew we had something special with the music, but we wanted to make sure we had the right words to capture the essence of the tune's meaning. I think we did that." added bass player, Tom Weyand.
This is one of the first lyrical collaborations between the two, who previously just hammer out musical arrangements. "I love the song, and think it's truly epic, Matt put down the perfect beat and all the extras in it are just a bonus to our normal sound." said the bands guitar player Jeff Koval (who also is the recording engineer at Sta-Level Recording.
The band is joined by many other guest performers but are keeping tight lipped on that until the release date.
